Beginning, being, again: THE ADVENT OF SPRING

A Poetry Collection by Claire Sunberg

Each of these three unique poems explores a particular aspect of the cyclical, continual process of beginning again. There is something about the advent of spring that encourages us to witness the budding within ourselves, the newness we hold, the slippery nature of being in the world and not knowing. May these images and stories allow you to embrace your own uncertainty and growth; may they bring you to a place of meaning.

Claire Sunberg (they/she) is a queer, neurodivergent, non-theistic Quaker who has found moments of home in many places across Canada. They currently live with their partner in Boston, USA, and are enrolled in Harvard Divinity School. Claire remains particularly interested in engaging conversations of grief, loss, death, and hospitality - all of which are key discourses in their poetry - and has previously been published in Driftwood and Whale Road Review.
